If I have previous experience can I join at the same grade?
Martial Arts East will assess your level, check your background and then decide on the appropriate level to come in at.
Where can I buy a Gi?
You can buy a Gi embroidered with the club logo from Martial Arts East. Please contact us via email or discuss with your local instructor to place your order.
How often can I grade?
This will vary as you progress, however with the lower gradings 4 months tends to be the minimum waiting time. You will also need instructor authorisation, this will be based on your attendance, work effort and ability.
Would there be an opportunity for me to compete?
Yes. Martial Arts East will host and attend external competitions. Martial Arts East will also host squad training in preparation for competitions. Please seek advice from one of your instructors for further information.
